About Me:
I am an 8th generation Bahamian. As a boy, I
traveled all over the Bahamas with my father who was researching a book
on the native trees of the Bahamas. I inherited his passion for
nature, in particular the many colourful birds that live among the
islands. I have lived in Abaco most of my life and my job as a land
surveyor has taken me over every inch of Abaco. I know all the secret
spots and very much enjoy sharing them with small groups.
I am a
board member of Friends of the Environment, a well-regarded local
organization dedicated to preserving our natural treasures. I have also
been one of the organizers of the annual bird count under the umbrela of
the Bahamas National Trust.
